BC's Childhood Cancer Society (BCCCS) is a registered non-profit organization in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia. With the commitment of dedicated executives and volunteers, BCCCS is able to help those children in the community who face cancer and raise awareness.

Childhood cancers differ from adult cancers in how they are presented and in their cell type and rate of growth. Typically, childhood cancers respond well to treatment and children with cancer have a better chance today of living a longer life than ever before.

Every year 140+ children in BC are diagnosed with cancer, 20% of kids with cancer do not survive (1 in 5 don't make it), and 75% of kids of survive have long-term side effects.
